MY STORY 

Hello! My name is Alex Mendivil and I am an Independent Filmmaker and SFX makeup artist based in Phoenix Arizona. My love for storytelling has lead me to pursue a career in visual arts. and being a writer and director is what I am the most passionate about. I graduated from Scottsdale Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Media Production as well as a certificate in screenplay writing for television. Since graduating I have created multiple independent short films and I plan to continue my journey and work towards bigger projects.

WHAT I CAN BRING TO YOUR SET

I have been working as a freelance makeup artist for the past 5 years throughout Arizona. I have done everything from working for MAC cosmetics, to monster prosthetics. Though I have done lots of glam makeup, monster makeup/horror inspired looks are my specialty. As a writer/director drawn to psychological horror films, I greatly understand the importance of good SFX makeup, and I would love to bring my skill set to your production!
